Research Academy, part of I Science Inc., – Research & Development, is the training centre for the I Science Inc., group.

Research Academy designs and delivers, at international level, both standard and tailor-made courses, as per calendar or on client premises, on managerial and technical topics.

Research Academy does not only provide training courses, but helps companies to identify and design optimal training programs for their human resources, generating intellectual capital within their companies, primary value in a competitive challenge.

How we do

To make sure that we are able to meet the needs of all our clients and students, Research Academy has come up with different training formats so that there is something for everyone.

Classic Training

Traditional classroom training.

CLASSROOM training is delivered on the Research Academy premises

The traditional courses are run by our certified trainers, supported by the use of multimedia tools and accredited material. The exam, where applicable, is also held in the classroom on the last day of the course.

This mode maximizes the possibility of interaction with the teacher and other participants. 

NOTA BENE: classroom courses are confirmed approximately three weeks before the actual start of the course, reaching the minimum number of participants required (3 or 4 delegates per session). 

Distant Learning

Distant training

DISTANT LEARNING training mode consists of participation to a course remotely, via a web-conferencing tool. These courses are therefore related to the confirmation of the corresponding classroom.

The Distant Learning training method releases the student from the constraints of having to actually be on the Research Academy premises. It is possible to do the course at home or in the office as long as you have an internet connection (ADSL minimum). Even with this training method the candidate is given the possibility to participate actively interacting with the teacher and with the other students in the course, thanks to the use of an advanced web-conferencing solution that allows the candidate to follow the course videos, presentation slides and speak or use a chat with the teacher and the other students.

The course syllabus is the same as the "classroom" courses and the student receive a paper copy of all the course material in advance, sent to the address they provide.
In this training method, where it has been planned for the course, the certification exam is done online.

This mode optimizes any charges related to the physical movement (travel times, charges) but also guarantees a high level of interaction with the teacher and other students.

The training is done entirely on-line.

The Research Academy teachers have more than ten years’ experience as consultants in their field. This makes the whole learning experience extremely alive, interactive and interesting for the participants, with exchanges and examples of how what is being taught has been applied in the business world. This real-life experience however doesn't in any way substitute the teachers' theoretical knowledge of the subject. In fact, all the Research Academy teachers are certified to the highest standard and are officially accredited instructors of the line of qualifications that they work with.

The professionalism of the teachers, who are involved in the planning and realisation of the courses, shines through in the Quality and usability of the training material. This courseware is always available in English, the language in which all the best practice are drawn up, and often also in the local language (every time the exams associated with the training courses is available in the local language).

Finally, Research Academy delivers all its courses in a very flexible manner: on fixed dates; by the client's demand (in its training centres); tailor made, in distant and online modes.
